Just nearly finished up my friend's axes for his Draven (League of Legends) cosplay. They're to be used at AFO this weekend.
They spin and everything.
The blades themselves are constructed with camping foam, posterboard, contact cement, plastidip, and spraypaint.

Feel free to ask questions. :)
Thanks!

My work was actually featured in League of Legends Summoner Showcase #90 at 3:14, although I was not the one who got credit. Instead it was the cosplayer who got all of it even though I made all of the props and accessories (axes, vambraces, circlet) while he made the actual fabric portion of the costume.. It seriously depresses me but it is what it is. Here is the link to the showcase----> [link]

Here's the link to the video of them spinning!:

wow that is really awesome, you did an amazing job. You have the rights to your answer to this but would you possibly be willing to converse with me (In a pm or something) how you made these? I was planning on doing a Draven cosplay too, any tips or ideas would be most helpful (:

I LOVE helping people and I would love to help you with making these, but at the same time I'd rather keep it confidential until I make a second version! It took a lot of my time and effort to make them so I'd hate to just throw it out there on how I made them until I made Spinning Axes Ver. 2 and then I'll make a tutorial for Ver. 1. Sorry if you think I'm being a jerk or stingy, I've just had a huge issue with the person I made these for taking all of my credit and work so I'm trying to be really careful. :/
